Mame Adjei is America’s Next Top Model, an activist, and a Ghanaian-American, model Mamé Adjei is speaking up for what “pretty” actually means as the new face of the #IDefinePretty campaign for her fellow women.
She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University, with a B.A in Political Science and Africana Studies and minor in Business. There, she developed an immense passion for service and social justice, as she volunteered with several humanitarian organizations. She aspires to earn an International Law degree in the near future, and work on human rights policy with agencies such as the United Nations in hopes of integrating her other passion – travel, with a mission to serve and affect change on a global scale. She has started by developing a youth empowerment program in Maryland during her reign. She prays that God grants her the opportunity to become Miss USA, so that she may have a larger platform.
Mame also models professionally in Maryland, DC and NY and has been doing so since the age of 16. Currently, Mame works as a project manager for a hair and beauty company based out of Washington, DC. She loves all forms of art, and likes to paint & draw to relax in her free time.
