Troops arrest 33 Boko Haram’s food suppliers

The Nigerian Army said on Wednesday that its soldiers had arrested 33 suppliers of foodstuffs to the members of the Boko Haram Islamic sect. The Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Usman, said in an electronic mail on Wednesday that the insurgents were arrested around Azir-Wazikoro in the Damboa axis of Borno State. Boko Haram Attacks Madagali, Yola IDP Camp, Kills 12

Twelve people lost their lives on Friday while scores were injured in two suicide bomb attacks by suspected Bokom Haram members at the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) Camp in Yola and Madagali town, both in Adamawa State. Major General Tukur Buratai, Nigeria’s chief of army staff The convoy was ambushed while travelling the unsafe Maiduguri-Gamboru-Ngala highway controlled until recently by Boko Haram militants.
