The Facebook founder visited Tech hub Andela yesterday and he actually trekked to the place. As reported yesterday, the visit was devoid of unnecessary attention as it was business driven. .
According to a passerby who witnessed Mark’s chit-chat casual stroll alongside his colleagues and representatives of the host tech company, he said…
“In a country where wealthy citizens often contract the services of heavily armed security team to accompany them around, this young foreign billionaire, serial entrepreneur and Facebook founder freely walked on the streets of Yaba in Lagos Nigeria. Free from fear of assassination or kidnap. That in itself is a huge message to Nigeria’s and by extension Africa’s wealthy class, to stop demonizing their own people”.
Below are photos and video of the visit copped by idreamzmedia.com yesterday.

Yesterday Mark Zuckerberg saw first-hand what Andela @thisisandela is building at our Lagos, Nigeria headquarters. Mark says to the team, “You are all a part of something that’s really important and I thank you for that — it’s awesome to get a chance to meet you." Thank you Mark and Chan Zuckerberg Initiative for your support! #TechWorld #Facebook #MarkZuckerberg
